What is YOUR Dream of a Global Vacation Property?
Is it located in Europe, Asia, North, South or Central America, The Caribbean or somewhere else?
Does your Dream include Beaches, Mountains, City Life or a Farm in Scotland, the UK or Australia?
We all Dream and each individual has their own Paradise. Mine is near or on a gorgeous, turquoise water beach close to shopping, outdoor events and gourmet restaurants.
There are many areas of the world to find my Paradise: Florida, Hawaii, the Caribbean, Costa Rica and Panama, Nicaragua and many more places in the world.
As a Global Realtor, I market properties around the World to International Buyers. Many of my properties are waterfront and located in Florida (North America), Central and South America and the Caribbean. I live and work in Florida and the mid-central Gulf Coast is my Paradise in Florida. We have some of the top beaches in the world right here in Sarasota. We have cultural events including an Opera, Ballet, Orchestra, Theatres and Museums. We also have incredible restaurants and shopping. The favorite sports in this area are: boating, fishing, golf, kayaking, polo (yes, we have polo and a cricket club!), bird watching and, of course, the beach.
In Costa Rica, Panama and Nicaragua, you will also find gorgeous beaches, rain forests, incredible birdlife and you can live very well on less money especially if you own your residence. Nicaragua is the emerging market of these three and very affordable at this time. As the country grows, the pricing will go up but, for now, you can get an excellent investment property in Nicaragua. There are also some very affordable properties in Panama and Costa Rica.
In the Caribbean, the first islands that come to mind are The Bahamas, Dominican Republic, Cayman Islands and Barbados. The Bahamas and Barbados are very well established islands and very popular with second home buyers, vacationers and retirees. Pricing is higher in these areas but the amenities and the lifestyle and cost to live there are some of the reasons. In the Cayman Islands, there are some great deals on land in gated communities to purchase as an investment or a future second home or vacation property. Barbados is a wealthy island and very self sufficient. I know of a new 5* resort that is just getting underway and is being sold in “fractional shares”. This makes ownership very possible especially if you buy only one or two weeks of the year.
The Dominican Republic is an emerging market (as Nicaragua) although farther along than Nicaragua. I have some private sellers for luxury villas with incredible ocean and mountain views, a 4-Villa Complex in Cabarete with a community pool and a couple of resort opportunities. The majority of my properties are located on the eastern side of the country near the Puerto Plata Airport. Luperon, a fishing village town on the eastern shores, is a safe haven to sailboats where there are storms in the gulf.
As a Global Realtor for the past five years, I’ve met and are associated with real estate agents world wide. If you’re interested in a particular area, ask me for an agent to contact. I will let you know their credentials and if I know them. If I can assist you in any way in purchasing a global property, please let me know. I work diligently for my clients to ensure a satisfactory sale or purchase of their global property.
